RG Consultancy was established in 2009 by Eric Redfern. Eric has worked in the finance recruitment industry for over 20 years, gaining a reputation for building successful business in most major Cities in the UK. In 2009 he decided it was time he did this for himself.

Eric Redfern - RG Consultancy

Managing Director

I have been in recruitment for all my life, starting as a junior in my uncle’s firm. I won’t tell you the date! At home we have a large family, with 6 grown children and our family dog Sweep, so it can be quite busy at home. I escape by running or by travelling whenever the business allows.

It has been great to see the business grow in recent years and I am really proud to work with such a wide range of professionals.

Sam Green-Redfern

I began my recruitment journey in 1997 and apart from a short spell as a primary school teacher, have continued to work in the industry. Outside of work I enjoy walking with friends and am an avid reader. As Commercial Director my role is to oversee the RG brand and to ensure that systems and procedures are in place.

I consider myself profoundly lucky to work with such a committed team; people with an ethical and consultative approach do well here. It has been great to see the business, led by Eric, go from strength to strength in recent years and I am excited about where the coming years will take us.

Hello, my name is Lauren, and I am the managing consultant here at RG Consultancy. I have been working in Recruitment for over 8 years and I have a real passion for supporting people find a new job, when someone gets offered their dream job (that you arranged for them) – this is an amazing feeling! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking our Hungarian vizsla Ralph for hikes. I enjoy football (Burnley FC) and have a real passion for Formula 1 and boxing. My favourite season is Autumn and Halloween is my favourite holiday (I am always the first to get dressed up).

Gemma Iannantuoni

I joined RG in 2022 after 14 years in Retail. I have 7 years experience behind me, as a manager and a big part of my role was recruitment. I absolutely loved getting to know new people, interviewing them and being the person who would offer them a new role.

I feel here at RG I can use my past experience and skills to really focus on recruitment as a main role and help people find their perfect job. I enjoy hiking and travelling around the UK and abroad. I’m half Italian and one of my favourite place to visit is Italy. I’m currently learning the language to become fluent in Italian. I enjoy experiencing new cultures, trying new food and I’m always looking for new places to visit.

My name is Craig, and I am a Recruitment Consultant at RG Consultancy.

I switched my career to recruitment in 2021 after a long time in hospitality sector management and have thoroughly enjoyed being able to use my skillset in a new environment.  I’m looking forward to the new challenges that will arise in my new career as we grow as a team.

In my free time I enjoy playing and watching most sports – football and American football in particular – and like to tackle as many of the mountain ranges across the UK as I can get to.

I have worked part-time as a consultant over the last few years and really enjoy my role here. I am a graphic design student at the University of Leeds and working with the company has helped me develop my skills a designer, having opportunities like re-designing our logo and branding.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the pub with my friends and keeping up with the Formula One.
